The Red Wheelbarrow

so much depends
upon

a red wheel
barrow

glazed with rain
water

beside the white
chickens.

I like it. Appropriate for this time of year, too. Thanks, Patty.

There is an English bookstore in Paris called the Red Wheelbarrow- it's in the Village St Paul, right across the street from the Kitchen store and the shop where we bought my wedding ring. In fact Chad was browsing in the bookstore (big surprise) when I first saw the jewelry shop was there. Maybe the shop is named after this poem?

I can't believe that! I went to the bookstore's website and sure enough...there was the poem. It's one of my favorites....We'll have to go there.

Patty, this will be just one of the most wonderful finds. Every corner turned.....

We can definitely go there! All the connections that we are making by doing the book groud and travelling together, it's really fun.
